Repeat
Pyrography and Red Stain. This piece was featured at the Red Poetry, Red Art, Red Tea event in Enfield, Connecticut. It reflects on the effect of war and violence with the flowers representing the peace and prosperity of what is supposed to be every day life and the boots trampling them to pieces. The repeating motion is meant to signify the unending torment inflicted- a challenge for the viewer to consider, “When do we break the cycle?”
